He steps outside, Into the street.
He lowers his eyes, from the wind, and moves his feet.
Already dark, no one around.
And his path is stark, to the out, skirts of town.

There's nobody there for to greet him.
There's nobody there that he knows.
And darkness begins to surround him.
The moment his eyes start to close.

And in a flash, he races past, a'everything he's ever known.
The starry sky, goes flying by, the Earth a pale blue dot alone.
Now he can see, infinity, as clear as sunlight out in front.
His soul immersed, in universe, he's everywhere and all at once.

And as he walks, He leaves behind.
Each one of the thoughts, that would cloud, his old mind.
The road is gone, He meets the end.
Still he marches on, to the unknown, he descends.
