The city’s quiet, A new horizon’s, hours away. The moon a pale glow, The shapes enshadow, the beltway. And something opaque, That I just can’t shake, Keeps me awake. The suits returning, The fog is burning, at sunrise. A new edition, The post admissions, agonize. A change in the tone, Now I am alone, City of Stone. The traffic grinding, The day is winding, slowing down. So I am standing, View from the landing, see the town. I can’t stand the heat, So down towards the street, Story complete.

Juniper 04:06
There’s a place where they’re dancing, Even after they’re gone, To the rhymes and the rhythms, Of a familiar song. Where they never feel, All the pain of the past, Cause the world where they once lived, They already outlast. While the years slowly pass them, Oh they all stay the same, Filled with joy and contentment, Heaven on a mainframe. In a paradise, Made of zeroes and ones, Is there a better ending, Than one that never comes? Juniper, By the sea, Time is a, Memory. Nowhere we, Have to be, So Juniper, Wait for me. Do they still watch the sun set? Do they look at the stars? When they know that they’re only, Simulations of ours. And to get a key, They must all pay their keep, Cause a life everlasting, No it doesn’t come cheap. Juniper, By the sea, Time is a, Memory. Nowhere we, Have to be, So Juniper, Wait for me. Did you ever know, There’s a place that we, Could be with each other, For eternity. No, I never knew, Oh, for what it’s worth, Heaven is a place on, Earth. Juniper, By the sea, Time is a, Memory. Nowhere we, Have to be, So Juniper, Wait for me.

I never told you, The way I’ve felt since I first got to know you. That I’d do most anything to hold you, But I was too hesitant to show you. See there were moments, You told me it’s hard to sleep alone and, Looking back now, I guess I was frozen, So I chose indefinite postponement. Oh, I think about what could have been, If I had said, what was in my head. No, it does no good to play pretend, But I made this bed, and you’re in, every thread. Cause only you, make me feel the, Way I do. It’s something that I can’t get past, ‘til I’m with you at last. It’s Only you. But I never told you, No, I never told you. Maybe it’s too late, Seems like you’ve found somebody who’s great. And it would be wrong to ask that you wait, But it’s hard to leave it all up to fate. Oh yeah it’s only you, you make me feel the, Way I do. It’s something that I can’t get past, ‘til I’m with you at last. It’s Only you. But I never told you, No, I never told you.

I'm under the impression, this is so uncertain. You and I have traveled together so far. You see we’re at a crossroad, on the edge of collapse. And this moment shows us who we really are. Now, I know we could hold on, for another lifetime. Measuring our value through passage of years. But maybe we should let go, probability will take us. To a state of being where things are so clear. And though there’s a place, for each choice that we’ve made. There’s one for every possibility. We’re universally bound, to this world we’re in now. Wonder what it’s got in store for you and me. Now you’re living your life and I’m off living mine, I can feel you like you’re still right there. Though we’re miles away, we’re connected through space, In a quantum entangled pair. Oh, something tells me that you, found a life that’s better. I feel your contentment when I close my eyes. I’m not sure what to call this, spooky action at a distance. But it’s a connection of cosmic design. And though there’s a place, for each choice that we’ve made. Yeah, there’s one for every possibility. We’re universally bound, to this world we’re in now. I wonder what it’s got in store for you and me. Now you’re living your life and I’m off living mine, I can feel you like you’re still right there. Though we’re miles away, we’re connected through space, In a quantum entangled pair. Though we’re miles away, we’re connected through space, In a quantum entangled…

No, we don’t have to wonder, where we’ll go, Some things are better left for tomorrow. You’ve got questions to ask me, well, I’ve got a few of my own, But for now, let’s just sit and wait out the cold. Oh, and by the way, I’m yours. Let’s imagine a future, what will be, In the country, the seaside, a city. I can already see it, It feels just like reality, Watch it fading away, now you’re all I see. Oh, but that’s enough, for me. Now the sunrise approaches, last moonbeams, Hours passed in an instant, washed downstream. As the room turns to darkness, It all splits apart at the seams, Back awake in my bed, a recurring theme. Oh, I’ll see you in, my dreams.

How can we just close our eyes? How can we just turn our backs? With the whistles on the rise, And our fate tied to the tracks. As they conquer and divide, Keep us each in our own space. Take the land where we reside, Sell it in the marketplace. Only when we, fell the last tree, will we see. Too many debates, too little too late, How long can we continue to wait? The future’s in our hands, Each day, we lose more of the hourglass’s sand. And for posterity, We have to change, it’s gotta start with you and me. Productivity is high, But the aquifers are low. As the farmland’s going dry, Try to live on the cash flow. Only when we, fell the last tree, will we see. Too many debates, too little too late, How long can we continue to wait? The future’s in our hands, Each day, we lose more of the hourglass’s sand. And for posterity, We have to change, it’s gotta start with you and me. The future’s in our hands, Each day, we lose more of the hourglass’s sand. And for posterity, We have to change, it’s gotta start with you and me.

So Much More 04:40
I was just waiting for my time to go by, before I, met you. But now I’m finally starting to feel alive, more than I, used to. You make me, want to believe. I can overcome all obstacles and, We, are better, when we’re together. And now anything is possible. Look down below and, see how we’re floating above, The city that we used to love. Over the mountains, town squares and fountains, hold on, We’re almost right where we belong. And we can be, anything, we dream. We’ll wake up to a world anew. Make a life better, one that’s like never before, Cause we were meant for so much more. See for a while, I was feeling so down, in this town, so blue. With just a smile, you helped me up off the ground, and unbound, we flew. Into the sky, grab my hand and we can go, Oh no, we don’t have to take it slow. And as we fly, feel the winds begin to change, Know that we won’t ever be the same. Yeah, we were meant for so much more. Yeah, we were meant for so much more.

Afterglow 04:47
Breathe, though you can’t sleep, The sunrise creeps, you’ve got to breathe. Try, and dry your eyes, It will subside, if you just try. It’s alright, passing light, Can look so different, in hindsight. Just hold on, won’t be long, Even the afterglow, will be gone. Everything is gonna change, Stars are gonna rearrange, hearts are gonna be estranged. Ooh, empires’ll rise and fall, Centuries without recall, Time is gonna solve it all. Heal, in worlds surreal, Your soul revealed, will start to heal. Wake, and your heartache, Will finally break, oh when you wake. It’s alright, passing light, Can look so different, in hindsight. So just hold on, it won’t be long, And even the afterglow, will be gone. Everything is gonna change, Stars are gonna rearrange, hearts are gonna be estranged. Ooh, empires’ll rise and fall, Centuries without recall, Time is gonna solve it all. Visible, with each passing hour, continues to dim, Equivocal, the spectrum thins. Infrared, but every new wave seeming only to chill, Cause light and time, they don’t stand still, Ooh. Everything is gonna change, Stars are gonna rearrange, hearts are gonna be estranged. Ooh, empires’ll rise and fall, Centuries without recall, Time is gonna solve it all.

Maybe I’m capable of choosing, Or maybe everything’s outside of my control. But either way I feel I’m losing, I’m afraid there’s no way I can be consoled. Now, has it all been pre-decided, If I turn back or continue on my way? If by the universe I’m guided, Then does it matter what I want or what I say? Would I wanna know, if it’s already been written, If the future’s like the pages in a book? Where will I go, if life is a script I’m livin’, Would it be so bad if I just took a look? Woah. If I could end this strange fixation, I might feel some sort of small sense of relief. If it was all predestination, Well, then at least I’d find out my will wasn’t free. Would I wanna know, if it’s already been written, If the future’s like the pages in a book? Where will I go, if life is a script I’m livin’, Would it be so bad if I just took a look? Woah. I’ve never heard another question, as age-old as this, But in the absence of answers, is where we exist. And if somebody wrote it down, yeah, then it must be true, See, on a grand celestial blueprint, there’s a plan for you. Would I wanna know, if it’s already been written, If the future’s like the pages in a book? Where will I go, if life is a script I’m livin’, Would it be so bad if I just took a look? Woah.

Wake up to the sound of birds, the world’s outside my door, Waves crashing up to the shore. Look out through the window pane, the rain is pouring down. I wonder if I would drown. Now I could listen to my doubt, But I don’t think I can fight this current carrying me out. So, I’ve gotta go, Find out all the things I don’t know, Everything that life has to show. Forget any danger below, Get caught up in the undertow. Timbers creak, the ocean churns, returns my thoughts to home, Oh, what made me want to roam? Suddenly, the tempest breaks, and takes my troubles too, I’ve never seen such a view. Now I could listen to my doubt, But I don’t think I can fight this current carrying me out. So, I’ve gotta go, Find out all the things I don’t know, Everything that life has to show. Forget any danger below, Get caught up in the undertow. It can be hard to leave, familiarity, The sea might make you afraid. But you’ll find your deepest dives, made you feel most alive, And there’s nothing that you would trade. To have stayed. I’ve gotta go, Find out all the things I don’t know, Everything that life has to show. Forget any danger below, Get caught up in the undertow.

Someday 04:31
It was only just a moment, to a long eternity, I can see it looking back now, my whole life in front of me. Every day was just another, single step along the trail, To a bright and distant future, I would walk to no avail. And then long before I knew it, oh the days were growing short, How the leaves began to tremble, as I watched the road distort. Now the future wasn't quite so, very far away from me, Lived a whole entire lifetime, in a season so it seemed. How I wish I could go back, only just to tell myself, To be present in each moment, 'fore the hour hits the twelfth. One day my tomorrows, Became yesterdays. I never noticed all the time, as it passed me flying by, And I'm still waiting for, Someday. As I see the snow a'falling, on the winter of my years, Everything I ever wanted, no it never did appear. But the more I think about it, the plainer I see I was wrong, All I needed to be happy, was within me all along. How I wish I could go back, only just to tell myself, To be present in each moment, 'fore the hour hits the twelfth. One day my tomorrows, Became yesterdays. I never noticed all the time, as it passed me flying by, And I'm still waiting for, Someday. I’m still waiting, I’m still waiting, One day my tomorrows, Became yesterdays. I never noticed all the time, as it passed me flying by, And I'm still waiting for, Someday. When I opened both my eyes up, from a long and restless dream, Oh, the sunlight shone upon me, and my heart was left agleam. I was just a summer child, looking at my life ahead. But this time I breathed in deeply, and stepped off the path instead.

Our Eden 04:10
Wait, I don’t wanna go home, There’s too much that we, We have yet to see. Why can’t we just go roam? Cause time is finite, but we’ve got tonight. I never want to leave, I’ll sell my suitcase, we’ll buy our own place. More than a quick reprieve, The world is crazy, so stay here with me. Life can, always, be like, today, If we, let it, don’t for, -get it. Let’s go and take a leap, If we find trouble, we’ll have each other. Sure, we might fall in deep, But I’d take chances, before finances. Life can, always, be like, today, If we, let it, don’t for, -get it. Life can, always, be like, today, If we, let it, don’t for, -get it. Every, Heartbeat, we’ll race, to meet, In our, Eden, we’ll find, freedom Life can, always, be like, today, If we, let it, don’t for, -get it.
